Inspired by the 1947 2124W set, we've brought this Postwar icon into the modern world on the eve of our 125th year. Combining the classic "Lionel Lines" look and feel with today's scale rolling stock and technology, this new set is a fitting contemporary tribute to our past. Staying true to the original, the set itself includes a GG1 locomotive and three coaches. But for those looking to expand, we're also offering add on baggage, dining and observation cars.Power for the train is one of our VISION GG1 electrics, complete with all of the modern features. Our 18" heavyweights make a fitting match to the scale locomotive. All cars feature lighted and detailed interiors with figures. Add on cars include an observation as well as VISION baggage and StationSounds diner to give your train all the features a kid could only dream of in 1947.
