Lackawanna 3 Bay AAR Hopper 3

Based on a 70-ton car common across the United States, these three-bay hoppers were a work force for the railroad. Whether singly or, more often, in unit trains, these were a daily sight from the 1940s through the 1980s. Lionel's cars feature realistic molded in detail for added durability and lower costs making it easy to build a long coal train of your own with seven road numbers available per scheme. Plastic bodies with added metal weights ensure good tracking even when empty. But loads are also easy with our new one-piece load inserts available separately.
