The Pennsylvania's B60 Baggage cars became a fixture on the Corridor even before there were GG1's to pull them, and many lasted in service well into the Penn Central era. Often interchanged on longer runs, the cars could be found as far west as the Pacific coast carrying bulk mail and parcels. Many of the fleet were also equipped for an on-board messenger to help sort and distribute the timely cargo at intermediate stops.Lionel's B60 tooling captures the many variations in door and roof changes these cars saw over their decades of service. In addition to standard cars, we're also offering a VISION version of the ubiquitous B60 complete with loading and unloading scenes; a perfect companion to your GG1 or any Pennsy steam or diesel power!
