ROSENBACH ENGINE SHED KIT
Product code: 62042_PIKDescription
Where there is a lot of rail traffic, an engine Shed is an absolute necessity. A single-track engine shed was soon added to Rosenbach station to house the small branch line locomotive. The thrifty rail authority had a cheap shed built of beams and planks, but with of course large double doors.
The roof of the shed was provided with a louvred superstructure to let out the smoke. The annexe at the side houses the office for the local railway foreman, but it could also be fitted out as a workshop for repairs to the little steam workhorse. Even though nowadays a diesel locomotive may find shelter here, the Rosenbach engine shed still creates the atmosphere of the pure romance of steam.
Features
PIKO G Buildings and Accessories are made primarily of an extremely tough, UV- and weather-resistant polycarbonate plastic material, with ultra fade-resistant color molded in. Many parts are also lightly weathered for a more realistic look..
Most kits include a tube of plastic glue, for buildings that will be used indoors. For outdoor use, we highly recommend using PIKO #55701 PIKO-Fix plastic cement to truly fuse the parts together.
Made in Germany
Please Note: Figures and Scenery Accessories are Not Included.
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - SMALL PARTS! NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3.
