Texas & Pacific LEGACY E8/F7 A

The Texas & Pacific found a pair of E units excessive for some of their smaller passenger trains. The road had 4 F7A and 2 F7B units equipped and painted for passenger service. Trains like the Louisiana Eagle often ran with the interesting pairing of an E and F unit combination. When not needed in passenger service, both the A and B units seemed to frequently show up on freight duty as well. Secondary trains like these are perfect for modeling. What they lack in fame, they make up for in character! And so we present the Louisiana Eagle with a mixed set of E8/F7A, a SuperBass F7B and seven 18" streamlined passenger cars all in the beautiful blue and gray of the T&P!
