Similar in appearance to the more common SD70ACe, the DC motored SD70M-2 has been a regular on American mainlines for over a decade. The locomotives can be found leading priority intermodal, mixed freight and unit trains. Since their introduction, several have changed hands, adding some colorful new liveries to their roster. Back in the Lionel catalog for the first time since 2011, the SD70M-2 comes with all the great LEGACY features you've come to love in a modern locomotive AND with Bluetooth control, the ease of operation with your Universal Remote or LionChief App. Non-powered numbers are also available for most roads to economically expand your lash up.
