Great beginner layout
This is a great layout if you are just getting started. To take full advantage, use DCC. It's great on the floor, or with the layout table and scenery that they recommend. In addition to what's listed, it also includes an uncoupling magnet. I suggest making the layout longer than what it is, but if you're doing it on a table, add a few feet so you can do this. This only comes with the track, switch controllers, and wires. It doesn't include any rolling stock, scenery, speed controllers or power packs, or buildings.
