"OZORA"

The real train made the debut in 1997 as "Super Ozora" connecting Sapporo and Kushiro. The train is composed of the steel front top with high cab and stainless steel body. With the coolers placed under the floor, the rooftop looks flat and simple, making a distinctive character of the train. Equipped with the pendulum mechanism, the scale model leans inside while passing on curves. It has protectors reproduced which were added recently to the rooftop of the real train, where the cars are connected, in order to hamper fallen icicles from sliding down on the flat rooftop and breaking the sticking out cab window when another top car with high cab window is connected in the middle of the train. Stickers are supplied to reproduce the head sign and full color LED destinations which were revised when the train nickname was changed to "Ozora". Combine the basic and add-on sets in many ways and make various train compositions of 5 cars to 8 cars which are seen in operation in recent years!
