MANUFACTURERS RAILWAY SET

Switching inbound raw materials and outbound loads around the famous Anheuser Busch brewery in St. Louis, the Manufacturer's Railway has been a fixture around the Gateway City almost as long as the smell of beech wood and hops have filled the air. Dressed in sharp colors and meticulously maintained, the Manufacturers' locomotives make a handsome presence even into the 1990s. This set includes an S2 switcher, boxcar, tank car, reefer and caboose all typical of the railroad's equipment in the 1960s and 1970s. While the railway itself was small, its cars could be seen all across the country, and helped make the loads they carried famous worldwide.
