Inside this busy operation, rough-cut timbers are run through planners and emerge as standard sized lumber. Found alongside saw mills like the Mountain Lumber Co. (933-3058) and industries like Hardwood Furniture (933-3044), both sold separately, Planning Mills are also operated as independent companies. The finished model makes a neat addition to any setting and fits in virtually any modeling era. The kit includes the two-story Main Building with board and batten siding, a modern Sawdust Collector with blower and storage bin, plus an outdoor Drying & Storage Shed where the finished products are allowed to air dry before being loaded for shipment by rail or truck.
